[19:13] < arioch> have to manually restart gpm after it finishes booting
[19:13] < arioch> for some reason it no longer autodetects pcmcia
[19:13] < arioch> and on top of that
[19:13] < arioch> I managed to use voodoo magic to get the opl3sa2 sound card working

[19:14] < arioch> and then I used the same options in /etc/modutils/alsa
[19:14] < arioch> ... and it won't work again
[19:14] * arioch bangs head against desk
[19:31] < arioch> I also like how
[19:31] < arioch> on the exact same wireless card with the exact same settings
[19:31] < arioch> on the old laptop I can top out at 3-4MB/s
[19:32] < arioch> and on the NEW laptop I top out at 600KB
[19:32] < arioch> tested at the same spot on the floor
[19:32] < arioch> *sigh*
